About Me as a Performer & My Practice
I've been interested in Theatre and Performance arts for about 7-8 years now. I was raised in a very religious household and at one point was training to be a pastor. Realizing that life wasn't for me, I jumped into the arms of Theatre and my life with the help of others and self growth has changed for the better. I am fan of acting in regards to traditional theatre and in regards to my creative side I like contemporary theatre.
Past Performances
Roles and Projects
Note: Not all performances I've worked on are contemporary theatre. I've only gotten into being a contemporary theatre enthusiast in the last 2-3 years.

This was a devised contemporary theatre piece that was a group effort between me and some friends. It was performed in the John Thaw theatre in Manchester. It discusses aspects of time and how quickly one can go from a child to old. The goal was to use contemporary theatre as a mechanism to bring attention to ageism.
This was a contemporary theatre piece revolving around the topics of racism and culture. It was made from the perspective of my experience as a black caribbean man in white spaces and my friend Oljas's experience as an Asian of Kazakhstan heritage in white spaces. We subliminally expressed experiences of racism without actually saying what was said or what happened to us. This allowed the audience to get to the conclusion on their own.
This was a contemporary theatre piece that used Stevie Wonder's song "Superstition" as the foundation. It was a collaborative piece made with others and was performed in the Grovesnor East Building in Manchester. All aspects of Stevie Wonder's song was used to create movement, the stage, pace and dialogue. The piece didn't really have a distinct meaning but was created to allow audiences to create unique meanings.

Documentation Strategy/ Acting CV
Documentation Strategy
In the past I have not documented my total creative process and creation of a piece from beginning to end. However, for future reference I plan on making daily journals with photos if applicable of my progress on a piece. The most important steps and documentation from this will then be uploaded to this website or a dedicated social media page with photos and videos of the final product.
